It’s because women are valued for their looks more than men are. There’s a higher, unrealistic beauty standard for women. Society places less expectations on men to look attractive, so women care less about looks, and more about other things. You’re not seeing a type because we dont have a type when it comes to looks. Generally speaking, we’re attracted to more than meets the eye, and I’m not saying that men only see looks, but that’s definitely generally a bigger factor for men, and that standard has been laid out by the media for women to be conventionally attractive.
